Hey gang, in this PSD to WordPress tutorial, I’ll be giving you a quick tour of the theme files that we’ll be using to construct our theme. WordPress is very modular, and splits each of it’s main theme files (index, archive, single, post, search etc) into template parts (header, sidebar, footer etc). This gives us an easy way to control the output of each template.

  1. Im not a programmer, but want to learn how wp themes build up and kind a make one. Im searched for methods for a week but your tutorial seems the best. Thx

  2. Mr Awesome Net Ninja, what Brackets addon is that? I’m having trouble doing live preview on my Mac. It hasn’t been an issue up to this point.
