Once accepted click “My Ads” to create a new ad unit.

Name it whatever you like and pick a size.

Google will suggest sizes based on what they find best performing at the time

Pick a type and style that works well with your site and click save code.

Copy the code given and add it where you would like add such as your Widget area.

  1. Hi there 🙂 I followed these exact instructions and added this to my self hosted WordPress blog a few days ago. However, no ads are appearing and when I go to my Google Adsense it says my account is being reviewed and I need to place the code on my website – but its not working 🙁
