There’s a ton of free plugin in the WordPress Repository to choose from and one of my favourites is “Google Analytics Dashboard for WP”.

It’s incredibly easy to install and displays a brilliant mini analytics dashboard on the WordPress Admin dashboard- amazing!

In this tutorial I’ll show you how to set up a Google analytics account, install the plugin and connect it to google – and it only takes 3 minutes !

  1. Hello, I installed the plugging and followed the video instructions; however, looks like it doesn’t work (( I don’t have date neither on WP or Google dashboards… Could anyone suggest a solution?

  2. This worked pretty well but, WP is still telling me to configure my analytics settings lol Though the plugin is on and activated and working… any way to fix that? or just ignore it?

  10. Hi, Jakson, How are you? thanks for your great videos and it is really simple way to install Google Analytics.. But i found that most people recommended another plugin of Google Analytics – Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights .. , and also at the same time need add extra one Php files , then can tracking all data and use Google Analytics.. So my questions as below:
    1. what is different between two different Google Analytics Plugin?
    2. The plugin ( Google Analytics Dashboard for WP (GADWP) ) you recommended does not need to add extra php file?? why another one need extra php files??
    3. which one is better about tracking website data?
