  5. Hey Mike…hmmm hmmm …I don’t know how to word it out.Excellent video which is self explanatory and very clear to understand. A great job well done though it is quite long but no boring at all.As every word of you has sense in it if any one struggles to set up a WP blog.

    Mr Mike, actually i am still wondering how to make login, registration page with my own fields and the most important thing is how to make code for login and registration in wordpress???
    I have been working on core php last almost one year so i do have sheer idea in core php but in wordpress i newbie. So please give me more more information so that i can feel myself as easy as in core php into this new CMS.
    Any help would be appreciated immensely!!

  8. +Mike Simmons fantastic video .I did go through another video on youtube on wordpress tutorial but this one is way better .Great job .Just a suggestion – maybe you could include how to add social widgets like Facebook, twitter etc .

Hi Mike~ This video was sooo helpful for me!!  the only thing that was not working out the same for me was when I created the gallery, and clicked on a pic, I wasn’t able to click inside the pic to make it thumbsize again… any ideas on troubleshooting that?  Other than that, you are soo awesome at what you do!  Thank you so much, and God Bless!!

  10. Hi there, I brought a domain name and hosting from hostgator.com, I also tried to install wordpress and it says my website doesn’t exist. How long do I have to wait until my site is up and running? Thanks.

  16. Hi Mike!  I am setting up a second website following your tutorial (which is fabulous).  I am stuck though… when I go to any page other than the home page it gives me “The webpage cannot be found” message.  What am I missing?!?!?  PLEASE HELP!!

  19. +Mike Simmons Hi, and thanks for the great video. I’d like to know if you have worked with the new button option plug-ins since Tiny MCE doesn’t seem to exist anymore. Could you recommend a different one maybe? Perhaps one that allows me to choose buttons and doesn’t just come with a set menu…

    Really a cool stuff and I like they way you teach. I had no knowledge about the wordpress (watched few videos on youTube but couldn’t get much), and after watching your tutorial, I am able to bring up a site and main thing is, kind of understood the concept.

  31. Mike, I don’t show percentages when resizing pictures. And when I added editing features they didn’t all show up with picture icons. They’re there, but I have to hover over them to find them. Oh, and thank you SO much.  You make this procedure comfy on a cold winter’s day such as this. Also, I have the most updated versions of all the applications. For nextgen, I don’t get no shortcode to insert. I think I figured it out going to the web site. Also, I couldn’t seem to “untile” my background at the beginning. Ended with Word Fence so will go back to check it out. I subscribed. Looks like there is something for beginners for 2014? Will check it out. You are THE best!
