  1. Thank you Dann! I purchased a theme for $19 on Etsy and I would not have been able to upload it without this video! It’s stunning.

  2. Hey Dann! I purchased a theme, i am trying to upload this theme, i am getting this error.

    Unpacking the package…
    Installing the theme…
The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.
    Theme install failed.

  3. Hey dann, what about adding plugins to the website? Like a plugin for people to purchase with credit cards etc

  4. Hi… I don’t even have the “add a theme” option… is it because I don’t have a Premium Account?

  5. haha, when you dropped it, it wasnt really uploading…haha, that weird moment…hahaha…good video tho

  6. Thank you so much for your videos! I spent days trying to figure out everything that was wrong (from having a wordpress.com site to not being able to log in on the back end etc.,) and your videos helped me solve days of problems in less than an hour, will definitely be watching more!

  7. Dann great video but any idea why I keep getting errors saying that the “connection was lost” every time I try to install a theme? I’ve tried 3 different browsers

  8. One thing I wish all the wordpress video makers would add is that if you are using Safari it is probably automatically unzipping your downloaded theme and you have to go into Preferences to prevent it from doing this. I wasted HOURS trying to figure out how to install this .zip file everyone kept referring to but couldn’t find

  9. Hey Dann just found and subscribed. You have some great vids here. I’ve got a problem with my theme installation. I’m getting this error for this theme that I just bought from the themeforest. The message keeps on saying; “Unpacking the package…

    Installing the theme…

The package could not be installed. The theme is missing the style.css stylesheet.

    Theme install failed.”

Any Idea what gives? I’ve unpacked the zip and checked the folders and files and everything seems to be there so I don’t know why I’m getting this message.

  10. I purchased and downloaded a WP Theme but don’t see a “documentation” folder in the files.

  11. I cannot find a solution to this: After I install the theme, every theme, no matter what, looks like the original ‘blog page’, only the colouring and font have changed the layout and content is completely gone. When you uploaded your theme and clicked view it looked just like the theme you chose, and so you had very little more work to do. I am at a loss as to how to proceed, I cannot believe I’m the only one suffering from this.

  12. Hello, so what if I want to change the color palette of the theme? Since you tell us not to touch the editor

  13. I’m using wordpress blog hosted on bluehost but there’s still no add theme button

  14. Hey! Just started WordPress.. Kinda. I have to install it manually first to be able to upload my purchased theme right? I’m having trouble with that. I can’t access my database for PHP my admin.. Would be greatly appreciate if someone can assist me. I’ve tried to do everything that I can 🙁

  15. hi, there is no ADD THEME option in the appearance tab anymore. Please help..

  16. where can we find a video that explains the whole process from the beginning using a dedicated server. 1. between whm, cpanel, and WordPress it gets so confusing. for example the Classipress theme. I have it all installed by my hosting company. No one explained how I log into anything just gave me username and passwords and said there ya go. do we log into whm, then cpanel, then WordPress? is THAT how I get to My Classipress administrator page? because Classipress surely won’t tell me. thanks

  17. this give me error again and again
